Meaning that awards of all kinds, some of the most amazing actors in the world are not even known to the general population

Actors who work in small community theaters, actors who play character roles in film and TV, actors who commit to a long career of acting for many years just to be involved

An acting career is about durability, about sustaining yourself for many years. As you age, you develop experience.

Also, understanding your craft more. An acting career is a chance to explore many friends, roles, and places you have never been before. An acting career is about experiencing the joys of performing. It's not a 3-year or 10-year commitment, it's a lifelong commitment.

It's in your heart; it's in your mind and heart to rise every morning and challenge yourself to stay involved in the acting world. We are not lawyers or doctors or whatever other careers are offered, which is fine, but we are actors, directors, producers, casting directors, camera people, set designers, and many more. And why? Because every time you are involved in a project, no matter how small or how big, it's a reward for the work you put in.

An acting career is a lifelong batch of work of all the people in the industry to bring out their best. You should never measure yourself on awards or acclaim by the media, but from your peers in the industry. It's a great business to be involved in.

Remember, the next project is around the corner and that challenge will always be there for you to rise to the occasion. No matter how many years you have been involved, it will always bring out the best in you.
